New Member's Class

When you become a member of Beyond the Veil Worship Center you will be provided an opportunity to walk through the basics of what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ and given an introduction to the church. You will be required to take a six week class that will teach you the foundational doctrines and principles of the Body of Christ as you seek to follow Jesus Christ.
The New Members Class topics will cover:

Doctrinal Beliefs
Tithing
The Witness (Salvation, Redemption, and Deliverance)
Christian Living
Church Ministries
These classes are very important and are required for every member of Beyond the Veil Worship Center. You will receive a Certificate of Completion after completing all sessions.
Salvation
​
Salvation is God’s plan to offer eternal life to anyone who accepts Jesus Christ. It is God’s perfect plan to help us avoid the consequences of sin and (spiritual) death. WE CAN NEVER ACCOMPLISH SALVATION ON OUR OWN. It does not matter how morally good we are, according to the Bible every person is born with an inherent ‘sin nature’.
We could not save ourselves from the consequences of sin, so Jesus came to the earth to offer himself as a sacrifice to save mankind from the holy judgment we deserved. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water; and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lightening upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
(Matthew 3:15-17)
In accordance with the great command of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we are baptized upon the confession of our Faith, and as we pattern our lives after Christ, we are baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. When we are baptized, we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus.
